Certified Nurse Midwife
$85,000 - $120,000 a year
Urban birth center seeking a new or experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to work in our growing practice. We offer full spectrum midwifery care (AP, IP and PP and newborn care) in a family centered environment for low risk pregnancy, as well as gynecologic care. We strive to bring anti- oppression framing to all of our care. Ideal candidate is a CNM with personal or professional experience working in accountability with BIPOC, GLBTQ2S communities. CNM candidates have the potential for hospital privileges and robust well person client base. Our midwives work in our hybrid clinic (for families planning hospital birth) and attend birth center and home births. The practice and birth center are owned and operated by the owners of The Gathering Place, a community resource center focusing on pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding support staffed by a small but comprehensive team of educators and birth professionals. Minimum Qualifications:
Current or Pending Florida CNM licensure
Current or Pending ARNP licensure
Current NRP, ALSO and CPR certification
Florida NPI & CAQH registration
2 years experience working as a CNM (not student) in an out-of-hospital setting – preferred. We are also considering recent midwifery school grads.
Out of hospital/ Birth Center and waterbirth experience – preferred but not required.

Licensed Midwife
$70,000 - $95,000 a year
Minimum Qualifications:
Current or Pending Florida LM licensure
Current NRP, ALSO and CPR certification
Florida NPI & CAQH registration
Must be versed in anti-oppression, anti-racism frameworks.
Experience using electronic charting software preferred.
Reliable transportation and ability to get to birth center within 30 minutes during on-call shifts
2 years experience working as a LM (not student) in an out-of-hospital setting (home and birth center)– preferred. We are also considering recent midwifery school grads.

Responsibilities
On-Call shifts 2-3 times per week
Staff clinic / postpartum visits 2-3 times a week
Attend births in the birth center and at home
Provide continuity of care in transfer situations
Complete all charting and coding in a timely manner
Participate in scheduled and emergency staff meetings
Participate in peer review, chart review, and emergency skills training as assigned
Maintain CEUs and credential in good standing
Participate in annual social justice, inclusion and trauma-informed care training as scheduled
Supervise students as necessary
Inventory and other CQI activities as assigned
May be required to work holidays, evenings and weekends
